How can I try the fragrances?
Every order includes a complimentary 2ml sample vial, so you can try your fragrance before opening the full-size bottle.
If you decide it’s not for you, you’re welcome to return the unopened bottle within 14 days of receiving your order, as long as the cellophane wrapping remains sealed, in line with our Returns Policy.
How is "Extrait de Parfum" different to "Eau de Parfum" and "Eau de Toilette"
All Journie fragrances are Extrait de Parfum, containing a higher concentration of fragrance oils (25% concentration) than both Eau de Parfum (typically 15-20%) and Eau de Toilette (typically 5-15%).
Where are the parfums made?
We work with master perfumers in Paris to develop the fragrances. The parfums are then manufactured in England.
Ingredients & Formulation
What does "100% Natural Origin" mean?
All Journie fragrances are crafted with 100% ingredients from natural origin, as defined by ISO 16128. Each parfum also contains a selection of natural essential oils according to ISO 9235.
What does "selectively formulated" mean?
At Journie, selectivity guides every decision. Our fragrances have been formulated without parabens, phthalates, formaldehydes or any formaldehyde releasers, UV filters, BHT, dyes, sulphates and silicones.
What type of alcohol is included in the fragrances?
Our fragrances are blended with COSMOS-certified organic grain alcohol sourced from Northern Italy.
We choose organic grain alcohol over standard perfumer's alcohol to support our commitment to using natural origin ingredients and to avoid the synthetic additives typically used in traditional perfumer's alcohol.
Is an INCI list the same as the ingredients list?
Not quite. INCI is the standardised labelling system for cosmetics, and it doesn’t itemise everything. Our fragrance blend appears as “Fragrance (Parfum)”, with only the individual allergens that must be declared by law listed separately.
INCI names also describe a molecule’s chemical identity, not where it came from. This can cause confusion, because a synthetic ingredient and a naturally derived one can share the same molecular structure and therefore the same INCI name. A name that sounds synthetic doesn’t necessarily mean the ingredient is. The real difference is the source.
Every ingredient in our products, including every component within “Fragrance (Parfum)” and every ingredient named on our INCI list, is of 100% natural origin in line with ISO 16128.
Are the parfums vegan and cruelty free
Yes - our parfums are vegan and cruelty free.
Are upcycled ingredients used?
Yes - each parfum includes a % of upcycled ingredients:
Velvet Grace: 10%
Marble Dawn: 33.76%
Orders and Shipping
Where do you ship to?
We currently deliver to addresses in Great Britain only (England, Scotland and Wales).
We are exploring opportunities to expand our regions.
When will I receive my order?
Our orders are shipped via Royal Mail 48 and should arrive within 2 to 3 working days.
Please place your order before 1pm Monday - Friday for same day despatch.
Is there a delivery cost?
No, there is free delivery for all orders.
How do I track my order?
Once your order has been despatched, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking number.
What should I do if I don't receive my order?
If your order hasn’t arrived within 5 working days of dispatch, please contact us at support@journielondon.com and we’ll investigate with Royal Mail.
Returns and Refund Policy
How do I return my order and receive a refund?
Returns and Refund Policy
If your chosen fragrance isn’t right for you, you can return eligible items for a refund. Please read our Refund policy for full details.
You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to request a return through our Returns Portal. Once you’ve requested a return, you have a further 14 days to send the items back to us.
Condition of returns
Due to the hygienic nature of fragrance, we can only accept returns where the item is unused, in its original and resalable condition, and the original cellophane is intact. If the seal has been broken, we’re unable to offer a refund.
Refunds
Once we receive your return, we’ll inspect it to confirm it is unused, sealed and in resalable condition. If it meets these conditions, we’ll refund the full item price to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving it.
Return Postage
You are responsible for the cost of returning items to us. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot accept responsibility for returns lost in transit.
